Hopefully the Red Wings can win Stanley this year. They are playing well.  Unfortunately saw them lose an OT game in the playoffs last year.

Not only did he sign a three year extension with the Red Wings (worth 4.5 million), Chris is also one of three Wings playing in the all star game!!

Currently, Osgood "is leading the league with a 1.68 goals-against average and .932 save percentage. He also has a 19-2-1 record."

Well we know it will NOT be the Stars.  Saddly they just are not strong enough and the scoring HAS to improve.  Need to dump Modano really needs to go.  Yeah he does have skills but he is being shut down by others.  His salary could go to pay for two other players that can score.

The Red Wings won their 11th Stanley Cup in the 2007-2008 season.  Who is going to win the Stanley Cup in the 2008-2009 season?

I know that the Red Wings lost their opening game.   worried

It's down to the Conference Finals!!

The Detroit Red Wings play host to the Chicago Blackhawks in the West. The Pittsburgh Penguins have home-ice advantage over the Carolina Hurricanes in the East.

I was in disbelief that the Red Wings lost game 7 on home ice.

Congratulations to the Pittsburgh Penguins!!   applause

Steve Yzerman, Brett Hull and Luc Robitaille, who won a Stanley Cup together with the Detroit Red Wings in 2002, were reunited on Tuesday when they were voted into the Hall of Fame.
